Here at Jones Strong, we love math... and the kids get to learn from someone who enjoys it. We are dedicated to helping each child understand the concepts of math and we use a variety of curriculum to achieve our goals, such as Life of Fred, Beast Academy, and more.

Language Arts
Reading and writing for every age and skill! We love helping each child discover the power they have when they can read and communicate effectively. Using amazing curriculum like Write Shop and Handwriting without Tears, we work with them to become confident in spoken and written word!

Science
The messiest and hardest subject to teach in a home setting. Now you don't have to risk your kitchen and living room in order to give your children hands on experience with the scientific world! Let us walk them through the fun (and destructive) elements of discovery. We have organized a great line-up of experiments and projects for every age group!

History & Social Studies
We love bringing history to life! This isn't a class of memorized dates and events, this is exploring real people and the hard choices they made that effected the world.
People are complicated and we explore the different factors that effected the events in history.
HIGH SCHOOL & COLLEGE LEVEL SUPPORT
Snow College Study Group
But what about High School? We have a group of youth who are all taking college classes together through Snow College (ask us how!) They meet together 3x a week to go over assignments and get help with their papers. We believe that high schoolers are incredibly capable of accomplishing amazing things when they have adult insight and support through the process.
PREPARING TEENS FOR THE REAL WORLD
Financial Education
To debt or not to debt... that is the question! Using Dave Ramsey's Financial Education course, your teens and pre-teens will get real world discussion about money, banks, credit, and be taught the principles of personal finance so that they can enter adulthood confident in how to manage their money. Having an adult mentor lead the discussion helps to make sure they grasp each concept before moving on!
CODING, ENGINEERING, AND MORE!
Technology
In our fast-paced world, we want our children to become solid in those things that will bring them success. In this class we introduce them to both digital and hands-on technological advances and give them a wide-range of knowledge on a variety of topics. Some days will be engineering based projects, and some days will be digital based projects.

Career Explorations
What do you want to be when you grow up? This question is asked of every teenager by most well-meaning and loving adults. In this class we help introduce your child to a wide-range of career choices! We will bring in actual experts in different fields to talk about their work and answer questions. We will also be going to different work environments! Our goal is to help each one have their eyes opened to the variety of possibilities open to them!
Each year is different, since we take into consideration the goals and desires of the teens attending to build our line-up of professionals and outings.
